My first degree in graphic design gave me a good foundation in painting, design and printmaking. As a design graduate I worked as an illustrator in design and advertising. In 1987 I joined the BBC as a broadcast designer working in news and current affairs, culminating in channel branding and film directing. Further broadcast experience in marketing and promotions at Canal+ Madrid, BSkyB, NBC Europe, ITN and Washington DC. Returning to painting for a spell in 2005 including large-scale portraits, landscapes, religious art and life painting. More recently I have worked as a web designer and print designer for non-profit, faith-based projects and commercial clients. I am currently focussing on educational and catechetical materials for adult formation and early Sacramental programmes.
Following the devastating earthquake in Haiti in 2010, I have visited the country several times.
