My love for fine line and intricate detail lead me to develop the age-old skills of calligraphy, gilding and Medieval illumination. I have devoted recent years to mastering the traditional art of Indian miniature painting. My curiosity about the use of traditional techniques in painting is constantly developing, as is my passion for vibrant, bold colours and graceful, stylised forms. My paintings draw inspiration from Indian traditional painting while giving a gentle nod to my own precious Eurasian heritage.
