Jean Willcox trained and worked as a musician for many years before she entered religious life as a Carmelite nun. Jean started taking photographs seriously in a contemplative spirit shortly before entering the monastery. A particular fascination for her is reflections in water, enjoying the abstract nature of images at the point where reality dissolves into mystery.
